As existing refugee camps in eastern Chad have already received more than 115,000 newly displaced people, with concern that up to 200,000 more may arrive in the next three months, it is time to center a community-led response.

Our Darfuri refugee team in Chad is ready to ensure that families feel seen and heard, and children are supported as quickly as possible through early childhood education and play.
They will visit households to listen to families, invite children to join existing iACT programs, and begin to identify opportunities to expand our programs.
